As u can see from Didi's eyes, she's begging to get into the house... i think it's too hot outside and I would vote for her to stay inside the house. One day she might learn how to open the door using the house key.
As usual, my balik kampung trip always involve lots of eating. Dan and I rented a car and we took daddy, mummy and tiger out for breakfast. Yummy... curry laksa... it's very very hard to find good curry laksa in Melbourne. Left alone authentic ones... i'm fussy... this is a gene inherited from the Phoon side. This time I didnt have char koay teow cuz the queue was far too long at Lorong Selamat....
The makan continued on a different day... near Komtar... for the famous cendol.

Then, we took the ferry to Prai (sorry mummy, it was a last min decision). We drove around and took tiger to the Bird Park. The road signs were very confusing and it took us a while to get to the place.
Tiger had a happy piggie-back ride.

Hmm... however, she was very upset because she couldn't see the bird show. It will take another 60 mins to wait for the bird show to start. Hmm... it was too hot for me and I was having bad headache... too bad... Tiger was very very sad and as usual, she cried. She cried even harder when Dan said she could come to Singapore and he will bring her to the Night Safari. Apparently, tiger's mom made a promise to her that she will take her to Singapore. As a little gal, tiger puts high expectation on that yet to become true promise.

Lesson: Must set the expectation right... a promise is a promise...
I think McDonald's and Happy Meal are the universal keywords to put the smile back on the face of a moody child, at least on all the civilised lands that the Big M has conquered... i claim this land in the name of McDonald's...
As a good yiyi and an excellent tour guide, we went to Batu Ferringhi.
Look at her happy face. ^_^
